My sister gave me a DVD for Christmas that I finally watched last night. It was about the making of an illuminated bible in process right now http://www.saintjohnsbible.org/Detail.aspx?ISBN=GA029000NF. The artist overseeing the project is calligrapher, Donald Jackson. It was so interesting and the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous! They sell prints and note cards and such to help fund the 7 year project. I have always been fascinated with illuminated manuscripts!
